My first studio portrait shoot out

Dec13-pat-01_edited-1

There is a photography club in my company and last week I joined them for a photo shoot out using newly bought studio lights. With no proper equipment with me especially a flash light, I depends my Nikon D40 built in flash to trigger the studio light’s sensor. And to prevent the built in flash’s light effect on the subject, I cover the built in flash with a piece of black colored clothe. I tried white color papers early but it didn’t work. It turned out the photo is quite good despite this is the first time I taken photographs in a studio environment plus the McGyver’s style flash setup. 🙂
